TWO ROCK VOLUNTEER
FIRE DEPTARTMENT

Providing on-call emergency response 24-7
Two Rock Fire Department

Two Rock Valley is a tight knit agricultural community rich with local history. Located 10 minutes west of downtown Petaluma, Two Rock is well known for it's rolling hills, spectacular open pastoral views, and fertile farm land.

The Two Rock Volunteer Fire Department was established in the early 1900's when a series of bad fires made The Two Rock Community realize that they needed a fire department of their own. The community came together and the first independent established volunteer fire department in Sonoma County was born in 1927.

Two Rock Fire District covers a large area
consisting of 35 square miles.

The Two Rock Volunteer Fire Department's progress in the eighty years of the department's history is due to the dedication of the citizens of Two Rock, past and present, who have selflessly volunteered their time to protect others.

Two Rock Volunteer Fire Department Objectives:
  • To provide emergency medical response & fire suppression services 24-7
  • To supplement the efficiency of the Sonoma County Dept. of Emergency Services
  • To advocate for public safety and community education
  • To provide a venue for community meetings, activities and events
  • To preserve the history of the Fire Department of Two Rock Valley
